Manufactured using high-grade PE resins through a continuous extrusion process. P.E FOAM products possess a closed cell structure with exceptional properties as low thermal conductivity, high resistance to moisture and chemicals, and high rebound resilience. They are tough, flexible, lightweight, non-irritating, and easily cut and bonded.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What thickness/type of P.E FOAM do you recommend? Why?
A: 10mm to 15mm with double-sided pure aluminum foil. Because these two thickness give the best value for your money!

2. What’s the difference between single and double-sided alum foil/film?
A: Double alum performs better by providing you with a “second reflector”, since there will be two shiny sides. An aluminum foil’s low emittance surface will release very little heat (if any) to the adjacent air space.

3.What’s the difference between pure aluminum foil & aluminized film?
A: Aluminum foil has higher reflectance and lower emittance than aluminized film; therefore, it will definitely perform better.

What is the maximum serviceable temperature of P.E FOAM?
A: 92oC. Melting point is 110oC. Flash point is above 232 oC.

4.Won’t P.E FOAM melt under the roof’s intense heat during summer?
A: No, P.E FOAM is very stable at 70oC. Please remember summer temperature usually peaks at 40 oC only.

5.What is the life-span of P.E FOAM?
A: If properly installed, P.E FOAM should last more than 10 years.

6.Can I paint P.E FOAM?
A: Probably not, because P.E FOAM has anti-static properties which “repel” dust and paint.

7. Can P.E FOAM be used for sound-proofing?
A: Yes, it can be installed in-between walls to block sound transfer.
